INTBAU Poland Summer School Krakow & Malopolska 2013

INTBAU Poland Summer School 2013 will be held from 1 to 13 July in Krakow (Cracow) and mountainous areas of Małopolska, including Zakopane.

The school, in a form of a workshop enriched with a series of lectures, is organised by INTBAU Poland Chapter in cooperation with INTBAU Italia and the Cracow University of Technology.
The aim of the school is an exchange of expertise and collaborative study in urban typomorphology, supported by practical exercises in traditional drawing techniques, measured drawing, photography, and character assessment of built environment. As a result, a number of place analyses and a pattern book will be collectively created for a sequence of public spaces in Krakow and for the wooden buildings of Southern Małopolska. The international group of tutors and trainers from Italy, Poland, United Kingdom and United States will work together with an international group of students and practitioners.
Applications for 2013 Programme are now open to all individuals engaged in architecture, urban design and planning: students, practitioners and others interested in traditional building, architecture and urbanism, local identities and cultural heritage.
